Analysis of Getting Old

My 80th birthday has now arrived
I guess I'm lucky that I'm still alive
My wife has said that I was not bold
I guess that how I got to be this old
And my life has been better than gold
If the rest of my life is as good as the past
There is no reason I should not last
If I keep the love of my family
I could live as long as an old oak tree
But when I finally fold my tent
It was really worth the short time i spent
The best part of all my life
Was to have three great kids, thanks to my wife
