Analysis of For Your Sweet 16 ( for my sister Sharon)
For your Sweet 16
I give you my love
I wish you happiness and joy
And all of the above
I watch the years
come and go
And I thank the Lord for the blessing
To watch you grow
For your birthday I would do anything
I do not lie
If I could I would rope the wind
And pull down the sky
But, for your Sweet 16
I give you my love
I wish you joy and success
And all of the above
I could tell you how much I love you
Until my throat starts to blister
You will always be my angel
My darling little Sister.
