Analysis of Final Fall
My heart sank and my eyes flooded.
The voice echoed in my ears:
I could hear his promises shatter.
I was told not to worry,
I was told to be strong.
How could I when my strength walked out from under me?
He helped me up the ladder
To the pedastal where I stood.
Then he took the parachute and jumped.
Leaving me to fall to the ground.
I slipped on the tears I wouldn't let come
And plummeted
My final fall.
He promised he'd catch me
He never did.
