Analysis of Fear

tears fall from her eyes but none of her peers quite know why...
shes attractive, she never acted out of place or out of touch
she knew a lot, but she didn't say too much
and if you were true to her
she promised to show you something beautiful
but who knew?
she lied
and a little piece of me died
it seems wrong that i still care
cause i know she doesn't.
maybe because she never cared the way i do
or maybe she was scared to show me the truth
either way i know its over
and i wouldn't be mad
but the way she did it is just so sad
she was scared to say that she choose another path
or in the simple way of speaking that she choose another man
but for about a week she showed her weakness
the fear of confrontation or the fear of hurting someone.
now you were scared to hurt me.
but you weren't sad i was hurt
you fucking fear is what cut me the worst
your afraid of the pain
and afraid to play this game
at least with some one who hasn't stood in the same rain as you
but if you showed me the truth
i would've known what to do
i would've known how to hold you, sitting alone in a room
but you didn't
so im sitting here wishing things were different.
and although i know you wont admit it,
it hurt you to get away with it.
