Analysis of Factual

It takes patience and a whole lot more,
To record incidents and what I saw,
Collecting and compiling data thats found,
Past and present there's plenty around.

Writing the poems then marrying with news,
Factual and observational plus additional views,
Varied the perspectives real and neat,
He who observes has a deadline to meet.

Staggering the situations exciting and rare,
Penning or typing an abundance to share,
Those fortunate people who read and digest,
Enhance their vocabulary along with the rest.

Not necessarily today do you relish each thought,
But years later you're pleased it was caught,
Present becomes history in a short while,
Suffice to wonder about development and style.

Dress and deportment how these decline,
Even our standards we no longer define,
What was once proper and sweet,
Often isn't found when walking the street.

I often ponder about time and space,
Also the future of the human race,
Too politically correct what can we do?
Pressures are great as to how they affect you.

I carry on doing what I trust,
Following established guidelines it's this I must,
Proved and effective honest and true,
A positive individual presenting my point of view.

Yes I write to capture this life,
Good and bad also love and strife,
There's vital interest in our world today,
But act wisely it certainly will pay.
Written when putting together my monthly booklet, and
looking at the collection of data needed to present to myself
and others reliable and interesting facts. It takes time, study, thought
and dedication to amass what is compiled. I often wonder why I do
this and the only answer I come up with it there is a compulsion to

I find it is a good way to record events of the day and bring history to life. The mental aspect is a balance against keeping fit, work and life in general. more…
