I hardly open my eyes again to see
Whether my sinful plan has worked.
Have I become immortal and forever free
Or stayed in world where I was locked?

The eyes feel blinding, blazing light
Making eyelashes flutter, split the air.
Like tiny hummingbird lingers in flight
For its such fragile, brittle wings to bare.

I sense I'm cloaked in mild scent of spring
Compelling all inside to animate.
This nature is untouchable, I've never seen
What's hidden just behind Heaven's gate.

Your absence pangs my chest, I'm lost.
Did Hell seduce you and possess?
I pray you didn't change to wandering ghost.
A lot of theories burst into my mind and obsess.

With desperate shriek I call for you
And stifle, strive to catch my breath.
Wind gripped your twiggy, dovelike body, blew.
We're separated even after death.

I'm sauntering around this sacred place,
Fervidly seeking for some faint sign.
Sign that will lead me to your chiseled face.
I wonder if it changed when you became divine.

Through fragrant trees I find myself in meadow –
Small paradise among that blessed land.
I accidentally glance at figure casting shadow.
Does my excruciating chase come to the end?

Chase for beloved one. You're lying on the grass.
The disappointed eyes pronounce silent question:
“Why did you kill yourself?” Your little dress
Is numbing me and drag attention.

It's stained with white, unblemished blood,
Straight from the heart this blood is oozing.
The holy ground drinks it in leaving the spot
That symbolizes pain your mind's refusing.

Forgotten everything, we share impassioned kiss.
Lust is invading thoughts; they're insecure.
This mortal sin may take away the bliss,
Unveil our wishes, make virgin souls impure.

Into this Eden our wounded love's revived –
Forbidden fruit two hearts with care hold.
Is it a crime to take desired bite?
Will we get banished back to the terrestrial world?
