Dance With Emptiness

You are not here, my sweetheart.
I miss each moment that we've shared.
My chest feels something I have fought
Some coldness shows me its glare.

I am preparing my arms to give a hug
And then embrace nothing but air.
The longing veins lack for love drug,
You mercilessly left me unaware.

I dance with emptiness, eyes closed,
They dream about your reflection.
That flawless silhouette my mind froze
To memorize such true perfection.

This emptiness watches me suffer,
Reveals its slaughterous, consuming grin
And plays a role of nefarious bluffer
Burning my eyes as you remain unseen.

It waits for my complete submission,
Beckons despair to catch me by surprise
In order to accomplish wicked mission
While yearning soul longs to see sunrise.

You know that, you used to be my sun,
But suddenly our hearts became remote.
I seem to fade away. Did you just run?
Will I be capable of finding your abode?
