Analysis of Dreaming

DREAMING
Tonight I welcome sleep. Come find me and sweep me away. Take me to a place with no responsibilities. Tonight I shut my eyes tight. Shutting down my mind I dare sleep to come and find me.
I fall away from all hard feelings. I feel at ease here in these sheets. Darkness feels so inviting. It puts my mind at ease.
I sit here on a cliff top, below me is the sea. Its heavy breathing is relaxing as it sings beneath my feet.
A breeze blows past my cheek, my hair spins in circles around my face. The sun warms me with its heat as I bathe within its rays.
I breathe in the salty air. And listen all around. I stare deep into blue waters and enjoy this place I’ve found.
Strong hands swoop down and find me, carrying me away, I surrender without a fight. I close my eyes a little frightened, and open them to such a lovely sight!
Surrounded by a field of desert flowers they turn towards me as if seeking out the light. They proudly show off their different colors, I’m delighted from all their attention. They put on a show for me alone as my cheeks show off their own rosy complexion.
I’m on my toes with my nose in the air smelling the perfumes that surround me. When suddenly I’m turned around and around I lose my footing bringing me down to my knees.
I find myself lying in a field of grass towering above me. I stand up and look out into an endless green prairie, a vision ever so lovely.
I take off in a sprint running with ease, the fields flying by below as happiness overcomes me. A Lighthearted laughter flows freely from my lips. Better than a kiss. I make a wish and instantly the ground disappears leaving me suspended in midair with the wings of a bird. Flying around to my heart’s content.
I finally came to an empty bed beside an old willow tree. I came down from the sky to rest my wings. Finding my place between the sheets I couldn’t help but find most welcoming. I closed my eyes to sleep.
