Analysis of Depression.

I am mentally exhausted.
I don't know what to do.
I go through the motions.
And that's about it, I'm done.
Sometimes I just want to quit.
My strength has been drained.
It's an effort to get out of bed.
Tortuous thoughts running through my head.
All the while, my body feels heavy, just like lead.
I can't see past the pain and misery that I'm in.
I'm in my bed and my room begins to spin.
The room goes so dark, that I can't even see.
Even though it's light outside, what the hell is wrong with me?
In this dark state I'm in, I can't seem to find my way out.
It's like I keep falling deeper and deeper into this hole.
I try to climb out, but I am so tired, I barely move an inch.
And they say that overcoming depression can be a cinch.
Maybe it's meant the other way around,
that depression is a cinch in overcoming our souls.
