Analysis of Death Is Tenacious

Death is so tenacious it lets no one stand.
Those not drowned in oceans are buried on the land.
Death is so capricious it turns on the fit.
Those not picked for crippling are chosen for the pit.
Death is so fallacious it deceives the proud.
Those not duped by promise are swindled by the crowd.
Death is so voracious it chomps all in sight.
Those not gulped at breakfast are eaten in the night.
Death is so audacious it scythes holy men.
Those not slashed for worship are severed for their sin.
Death is so pugnacious it strikes at each chance.
Those not racked by sorrow are by circumstance.
Death is so malicious it takes the newborn.
Those not with maladies are with disaster torn.
Death is so pernicious it assails whole towns.
Those not felled by nature are yet effaced by frowns.
Death is so officious it snoops in affairs.
Those not tried in person are addled in their cares.
