Analysis of Cyborg
Hunger boils in my mind
I cannot satisfy
Solid eyes, cold and dry
Solid like this cold metal
Ecstatic pain sinks my brain
Circuits coiled, tightly strained
The feeling of oil in my veins
Sounds of metal in the rain
My ears go deaf to these sounds I make
I envy the voice of mother nature
Thunder grabs the ground and shakes
As I sing robotic prayers
Each cold drop cuts the air
The rain corrodes my manmade soul
Each piece of clear darkness
Cuts my hope like cold metal
Built to outlive humanity
Manifest human vanity
Absent from death and absent from God
Never to end, independent and strong
But I don't want this chrome on my tongue
Something acid cannot digest
It cannot cure this hunger
I only feel the cold metal
Tools are crafted of cold metal
Music is made with cold metal
Weapons are made of cold metal
Life on Earth is cold metal
Now melt it away
This metallic skin
Melt me away
And cure me of this
