Ode to Erato
Life on the water
Steadily wading the days
Through the hands of the forces
Following the whims of the waves
Staring each storm in the eye
No fear extant for below
As I search for her soul
Whom only I'll ever know
She sings while I sleep
She sang strong during war
She'll sing till I find her
And love her to the core
I'll reach deep inside her
Fill her heart with her wants
I'll dispose myself by her
As white knight under God
No phantom or demon
No zombie or spectre
No ethereal being
Can contest your protector
As one of God's iron fists
Over all that exists
My yenning spirit
Is inline with His
Unveiled as a sinner
And removed from the pit
With no reason to fear
I've learned to love just like Him
Sing the red into roses
I will follow your voice
Some night, we'll unite
And every night after, rejoice
