Analysis of Cousin

You'll be back in 4 years, so why does it feel like you'll be gone forever? I need you to promise me you'll come back. You were my only escape from our kooky family. You're the only person in our family that I never felt isolated me. You are my real best friend. I know you're doing something wonderful, and I'm sorry for being so narrow-minded, but I don't want you to leave. I know it's not about me and what I want. I should be happy for you. Which I am, I just don't know how I can stay strong when you were always the one to do that for me. I'll miss you so much and I will be counting down the days until you return.
