Analysis of Consider Him

Consider him
Who for the joy ahead
Endured the cross
Until he was dead
He took the blame
He bore the shame
He paid the price
To lay hold of life
Though the Son of the Father above
He gave up his life and his crown
Because he loved
Consider him
Who pressed right on
Through the darkest night of humanity
Who denied his own pleasure
For you and me
Sometimes it seems to take all you have
To make it through the blackness of night
But it's alright
Hold right on-to the end
The light will shine
And you're find grace again
Until then, consider him
