Analysis of Change
Jessikah Bailey 1988 (United States)
my life seemed perfect,
i was so sure of everything,
knowing my next move
and what the day would bring,
but then in the blink of an eye it all
turned around and it felt
like i had been pushed to the
ground. rumors, drama, and
everything in between, it was all so
horrible, just like a bad dream.
there was nothing i could do
but sit there and cry, but
i couldn't and i wouldn't,
so i just asked God why,he would
hurt me in that way,and i know he would
say, that it's for the best and it
would all work out in the end,
so i'm waiting and debating what
i'll say at that time, but until then
i guess i'll just stay here and rhyme.
