Analysis of Burned

The dead sunflower
caught on fire every few seconds
Dried, wilted petals
hung off the burned, cracked face of it

A deadly choking sound
came out of the sunflower
as it tried to cough out the hissing smoke,
the cherished life of a yellow flower, gone forever
