Analysis of Boys Don't Cry

There upon the table
 Lies my sullen art
 How you wear my fate
 How you rule my heart

This the craft that binds
 Composing from the mind
 A tale that every boy,
Well learn to write in time

An empty pint of beer
 Will refill itself with tears
 A warm gun will recommend
How to fix, what does offend

The wild beast within
 Rages when the injury
 Takes him by the neck
And brings him to his knees

Then like slaughter hogs
 We become the sacrifice,
 Begging women's tears
 To conjure back to ice

But in some other way
 We keep tears away
 Napalm clears a field
 When the enemy won't yield

I'm thinking like a man
 Not giving a d*mn
 So you wear my fate
 Like love disguised as hate

Cast these rages aside
 Give them time they'll dry
 No! These tears won't fall
 I'll walk proud and tall

But there'll be a time
 Every mans been there
 Yet they will never know
 Just how much we cared.
