Analysis of Black

Nothing.
Not the darkest night, nor the deepest abyss
is as black as the soul of man.
Revenge,tarred as justice.
Hatred wrapped in perverted promises!
Demonic hands tear the heart from living flesh.
Demanding ultimate power over life.
Avaricious fingers reach up from Hell
dragging innocents into the Apocalypse.
Holocausts of fire sear the land,
changing destinies into smouldering ash.
Charred flesh becomes the currency of power.
And the soul of man blackens the skies.
The universal Gods look on,
unwilling to pass judgement on their own creations.
Whilst thousands unite in solitary prayers,
and hurl curses at the Gods.
At their lack of power over evil.
And one by one, dark souls silence the screams of anguish and despair.
Until nothing is left.
Save the blackness that is the soul of man.
