Analysis of Aarti

If with the gift of painting
Blessed I be
I would create for you
An image brazen, bold, and free
On canvass of transparent hew

Two eyes that glimmer in the dark
And blind by the day
Two wings that always longed for flight
And countless instances they may
Have reached ambition of their plight

If I were dubbed with gift of music
Truth would leap from song
Imbibed in melody of color
Red with emotion strong
A million voices eulogize the scholar
