Analysis of A Pyrrhic Soul
Clenched in a vise I can't escape
Filled with the stench of Brimstone.
A beckoning call never answered.
Meandering thoughts of what could have been:
Should have been, but will never be.
Transcends life, death, and time:
Pure thoughts not conceived,
Where depravity now reigns supreme.
Blood and flesh: cold, stagnant:
Stoically looms forward for yet one more try.
Believing, hoping, for the void to close
Whence, one can linger in absolute serenity.
Day and night, come and go.
One, two, three: an eternity to explore.
This now the magnanimous existence:
Blessed nor cursed:
Cloaked with ineffable sadness,
Consumed by immortal torment.
A shattered spirit:
A Pyrrhic Soul.
