Analysis of A Poet's Dance

Trapped in a circle where freedom seems to hide I whisper to the little voice that hears.
Sweet is the sound that barely seems alive and, fragile are the words that I hear.
A thought comes to mind then the little one responds til the two of us enter a dance.
Together the music we make when released
our debut is now given a chance.
Perfectly matched us two seem to be if only the little one knew of the truth.
We are one in the same but appear separately but, together can capture our youth.
Our dance is unrehearsed
yet with each step, a feeling, a tear, a thought seems to flow.
Out of the hand, then to paper does end our recital comes to life for a show.
Now others can join and experience the beat of our thoughts that we've now put to words.
Then quietly the little voice scoots back inside, til it's time once again to be heard.
