Analysis of A Hopeless Cause
A frightening feeling feeds fear,
gnawing at the heart of the beast.
And a corrosive searing pain,
burns like acid from deep within.
Cringing at the fringes of dark,
evil contorts its blackened soul.
And yet love has infected it,
boring a hole into its heart.
Smitten by a flawless beauty,
it's heart writhes in pure agony.
Seeking hope in a hopeless cause,
it craves her despite all its flaws.
Squirming in pain it lies bereft,
as the pangs of passion persist.
And reaching in it grabs its heart,
and rips it out to ease its hurt.
