Analysis of "velvet"

You have me spinning,
wrapped up in velvet twine.
I wake with you spending,
my time like fine wine.

My penny bank broke,
I smashed it against the wall,
books for a dream that spoke,
painted while you fall.

I shine your spotlight,
it's your jena se qua,
put in your mouth I might,
put my finger on.

Give me your holler,
I'm spinning, "my Lady,"
to sell for a dollar,
velvet laid shady.
