Analysis of More Than an Eating Disorder

I have an eating disorder,
But I am not defined by it.
Yes, my life seemingly revolves around it,
But I am so much more than that.
I am a musician, a student;
I am a daughter, sister, girlfriend, and friend
Most importantly I am a daughter of The Most High
I am God’s child; fearfully and wonderfully made
If God created the world and called it perfect;
Then I am also perfect in His eyes.
God sees the true us,
Not the physical appearance;
But the beautiful soul that we all have.
I am beautiful inside and out
Even when it might be hard for me to see it.
I have an eating disorder,
But I am not defined by it.
I am so much more.
