Analysis of Two Sides

Miguel A. Lopez 1966 (cidra)

A face unknown , a mystery , It's like two persons in one.
Two different sides , trapped deep inside even with time.
A face of the past. The other of the present . Two faces
living day by day . Two sides. One side with pain .
Perhaps the other with laughter, with one trying to be the master. As I look in the mirror. I can see two sides.
To everyone I'm happy in life. Who am I kidding , nobody
but myself. In my eyes I can see another face. Confuse
in the mind by mysterious ways. It's like taking a pace
or a step. Taking a little at a time. Tapped with the past
and the present living two different lives. The face in the
past, it's like looking in a glass , seeing two different
laughs. Must know the secret before you pass.
Two sides of the story. Two sides of life.
One is a phony , the other struggling to survive.
It's trapped with time. Two sides I say.
Two different faces. Acting in mysterious ways.
