Analysis of The Quiet Man
Miguel A. Lopez 1966 (cidra)
A man, a stranger walking alone. Nothing to say and
never goes home. Looking through his corner eye.
Watching the people whisper behind. A lot of things
crosses his mind. Says to himself, you fools don't you
know who I am. I'm not around by day only by night.
I'm darkness thing that's part of you, that lives deep
inside. As the people whispers, who is this man that
doesn't speak. Who doesn't even greet but in his he looks
like a creep. The man stares and wonders, wouldn't you
want to know who I am. Very soon you will know, if I
choose to reveal myself. His mind so trapped with
himself. That he only says. To everyone I'm quiet man
but this is where I stand. I stand where the cold wind blows, where down a hill a stream flows. Where there's
only darkness where the sun doesn't shine.
Not a living thing lives but dies. I'm in power now in a
world so dark. I put hatred in everyone's heart.
Making happiness and love fall apart. I don't care says
the quiet man, because I can destroy you any way I can.
