The Things I Remember
Miguel A. Lopez 1966 (cidra)
I took a walk along the sandy shore. Remembering those
beautiful moments like before. And all the precious times
we laughed and share. As I recall you were always there.
I feel the sea breeze blowing on my face . I close my
eyes and dream of your embrace. I watch the seagulls
fly and start to cry, all these things I remember fill my mind.
I wish I could go back again. You were my love and my best
friend. I know my broken heart will never mend. Each day
my love for you still grows. Like a river my heart flows.
Hoping you be waiting around the bend. My darlin' I
will always treasure you. My heart will always have a place
for you. No matter where you are we'll be together.
As I hold on to the things I remember.
