Analysis of Beaty of the seasons
Virgil Sturgeon 1931 (Iowa)
While strolling through the countryside
Upon the hills I see
In red ,brown , green and amber hues
Miss autumn's lingerie
Will wonders never cease to be ?
Tis magic to behold
The way that GOD has blended
All the red , green , brown and gold
Yet ! Autumn's just anouther sign
Dame winter's coming nie
TO spread her silvery , Ermine cloak
Around us from on high
And in her long and stormy reign
A great new year is born
With a loving personality
Buds and blossoms shall adorn
There's some I fear that never see
These treasures that abound
And yet the only secret is
Lift your eyes and look around
