Analysis of Celebrations
Justina Sviatodukhova 1978 (Sumy region)
We celebrate the chance to be united –
one Holy Orthodox and Local Church!
Mother Ukraine, You will be strong, Your future is decided –
The Holy Rus revives at last, it is a happy song!
The blasted enemy was trying to divide us:
demonic wisdom was his council and pride;
but God is stronger, He is Kind, Almighty;
His Wisdom has been praying for the peace for us!
I’ll take the Bible, read the holy verses;
then read the psalms and pray for Holy Rus:
be strong, my land! live peacefully and decorate your churches –
we celebrate the Victory of Jesus Christ and Truth!
The ringing of the bells is calling our people
and Holy Spirit is awaiting us to be with God.
Leave evil deeds and jealousy, demonic wisdom –
The Holy Trinity is manifesting grace and love!
The sufferings have finished – sun is coming out,
and let us love each other as our God devised;
the Victory of truth, the words of Holy Bible
will lead to the revival of hope in the hearts!
The darkness of the fallacy – for those who are tares;
i pray that all true children be safe in Paradise:
oh, Holy Rus, oh Motherland! i am with You forever;
You are my Home, Shelter, Your air is divine!
