Analysis of Innocence

Tuesday 16 February 2021/2013

When you remain innocent, your conscience is free,
No matter how grave the allegations may be.
But a guilty heart will nevermore be at ease;
Suspicion and superstition will give no peace.

Because of envy, they will frame the innocent.
For the good one does, they would want one to repent.
As a criminal, they treat one for one's kindness:
One's benevolence made to become one's distress.

Their accusers and persecutors cannot run;
Suddenly a conclusion will come to their fun.
They will bow, prostrate and implore for forgiveness
if they survive the shocks of their maliciousness.

Guiltlessness will always gladden the mind and soul;
Jah has produced His Words to get written in scrolls.
Examples are many that all crimes are sinful:
Not all will get pardoned and become forgetful.

Let us embrace innocence with the Love of Jah,
Never stop doing good in Sight of the Father.
When your adversaries conspire against you,
Their wicked intentions will not wholly come true.

They may have you in captivity for some time,
But they will never break or penetrate your mind.
Granted you are prayerful and do what good is,
Even with nothing, you will not depart from bliss.

If you must be guilty, be it of innocence,
And your entire being will be a precedence.
You will thoroughly represent the Almighty;
In His and everyone's eyes, no gap will there be.

You must bear in mind when you plan to hurt others,
Someone else will be lighting a hotter fire.
It is your tricky actions that will befall you,
And when caught you are, at last, you may not undo.

May you then be innocent of all corruption;
Rightly love all and everything with a passion.
Remember that love is pure and cannot defile;
So, let innocence lead the way in all profile.
