Analysis of Love is Serious

Michael Nicodemus 1969 (Gresham, Oregon)

Love is a serious thing,
And it shouldn’t be left alone.
We must not think of it as a bad feeling,
But as a good one.

Love is beautiful and warm
When you are with someone special.
Love shouldn’t be torn
‘Cause it’s very beneficial.

Love can be harmless
When the other person loves you.
It can also be harmful
When that person dislikes you.

When two people are in love,
They have that special feeling inside.
They know what it does,
And they never put it aside.
