Analysis of Why did you do this to me?

Why did you do this to me
Why did you love me when you knew
how deceitful it was
Why did you make me smile when you
knew you would leave
me crying all the while
You brought a ray of hope into
my life but yet you
shattered it yourself
I trusted you
I believed in you
Why did you pull me into the light
when I've lived my whole
life in darkness
Why did you reciprocate my feelings?
Why did you do this to me?
You made my life so significant and
sometimes I wonder, how can something that supposed to
make you feel complete
ends up leaving you so empty
I sit and watch my dreams and
aspirations blow away
with the breeze
Helplessness has
overwhelmed my soul
The thought of our separation
Leaves me heartbroken
