Analysis of For Sydney

When all is said and done,
And the spry flames we once were
Have crispened into raven ash,
I will see you.
I will see you in the lonely face of the moon
I will see you in the ripening autumn leaves
I will see you in the wildflowers that bloom near here
I will see you one last time, and I will see you in everything.
And when the land calls, I will return home.
