Analysis of Your Tears

I see tears trailing down your face
Your almost always smiling it’s so out of place
I want to comfort you wipe away that salty waste
I want to feel your lips but happiness I won’t taste
You avoid my eyes but I know what I would see
Anger and frustration all caused by me
I say don’t hate
We can still date
You yell “CONCENTRATE”
It’s too late
I hear the pitter patter of your feet
As you run you scream “I can’t love a cheat”
Without you I’m not complete
I can’t compete
I made a mistake
My hearts about to break
You’re tears create a lake
In which I am going to drown
I let you down
Please smile don’t frown
Look at me with eyes so beautiful brown
I thought our love was bound
I am like a pup in a pound
Lost but never found
My heads spinning around
Heart pounded to the ground
Can’t make a sound
This poem was meant for you
But I’m sad too
We were together for years
My tears
