Analysis of a bullet burns
dan henry lambrix 1962 (roseville)
In a quiet neighborhood, on a cool summer night.
A shot rings out into the air, lights & sirens come from everywhere.
In his front yard a little boy is shot, accidently.
"don't pull the trigger, a bullet burns."
His mother kneels down, and look's up to the sky.
She asks Jesus why oh why, did her 10 year old boy have to die.
Their are so many bad kids in this big old world, and hers was good.
"don't pull the trigger, a bullet burns."
And the crowd that is standing around, all had tears in their eyes.
They see one child go to jail, never able to make the bail.
Two families lives are destroyed because of one gun, what a shame.
"don't pull the trigger, a bullet burns."
People all around the world, must teach their kids.
That these guns are dangerous, their not toys they will kill you.
Then no more baby's will have to die because of guns, listen please.
"don't pull the trigger, a bullet burns."
