Analysis of Last night I slept to dream a dream
Piyush Murarka 2004 (Janakpur)
Last night I slept to dream a dream
A dream about a boy
Who's done living.
He's used to bullies
He's half-dead, he's half-alive
He wants to fight
But ends up sobbing and crying
Each and every day he's dying
Scared of what, nobody knows
He's an introvert , stays alone.
As the night falls, he goes to the park
Just stares towards the sky, searches peace in dark
He talks to the moon, he talks to the stars
Keeps complaining about life
He doesn't wanna live
He can fight it all
He doesn't wanna believe.
He says to himself,
"I just wanna sob and cry
All I wish is my sudden demise
I'm half-dead, I'm half-alive
I just wanna sob and cry
Till my soul, closes my eyes."
