Analysis of Daydreams

Daniel Millard 1976 (Medford, OR)

I listen for that trumpet
Awaiting the big announcement
I look to the skies
Big Montana skies
Looking up
Longing in my heart
Desire in my soul
Hope is pounding in my chest
Supernatural healer
Great light of the world
I smile and think of your face
And I wonder if ever I'll be there
A child receiving love's sweet grace
