Analysis of Rhyme

There is more to poetry than rhyme,
And I don't employ it all the time.
I'm using it here, right now, it's true,
But it isn't something you have to do.

A poem can still speak eloquently
Without rhyme, and consequently
I forgo rhyme as often as not.
I write what comes, and see what I've got.

To rhyme or not to rhyme — It's up to you.
Some days I don't rhyme, but today I do.
