Analysis of Because of war

A lone reporter
Sits and writes
Keeping time
With the flames of candlelight
He has experienced
Many restless nights
Listening to the children's fright
Who live in the bloody fight
Called war.

The sounds of guns
Are the sounds of war
The victims
The help less victims
Scream and cry
Scream and cry
Scream and cry once more

Food
Help me
Pain
Save me

They pray to their idols
They pray to their gods
They pray for the suffering to end
Some even pray
For their dead
To come back to life again

The reporter reads about aide
He reads how some are proud to say
Let's fight this war
Let's win this war
So our soldiers
Our young men
May be protected
From dying in vain

They pray to their idols
They pray to their gods
Some even pray
For their dead
To come back to life again

And oh how the war continues
And yes war goes on
Till one government discontinues
Till one government has finally won
One carries the sorrows of victories
One carries the cross of defeat
From the winning side
One person shall rule
Demanding others to kneel to his feet

He will inventory his wealth and collections
While he sips his cup of tea
He will not have time
To listen to the cries of his subjects
He will not have time to see
But he will have ample time
To be worshipped
As a president
As a dictator
As a king
And just outside his palace of riches
A chorus of sorrow sings
The dead are mournfully buried
The misplaced are driven away
A parent stands with a look of despair
Cradling his wounded babe

And the victims
The innocent helpless victims
Scream and cry
Scream and cry
Scream and cry once more
Because of deadly endless wars.
