Analysis of Saša Milivojev - THE UMBILICAL CORD

Saša Milivojev 1986 (Serbia)

Far away
Beyond the Sun
I hear the aching beats
Of a broken heart
The umbilical cord has ripped apart
Scattered through the desert
the milky drops are glittering
In your trail your abandoned „baby “
is crawling and howling
Remained but an empty
Sandy nest
Now the time has come to rest
All things now cried bitterly
to standstill brought the Infinity
Weathered I wandered
Entwined in torment it was mine to face
I would resurrect in your embrace
