Analysis of The only loser in the battle of the dead

The only loser in the battle of the dead
By :
Ehab El-wardany
Translated by :
Hassan Hegazy Hassan
///

I and my body are two companions
With one soul, one memory,
Two feet and two eyes
Going and coming as if
I have turned them into hoopoes

I think neither of my disappointments
Nor my sins
Nor in the daughters of the jinn
When they are rubbing my organs
With umber and camphor
They have seen me on the edge
Waiting for the relief

I am a normal man
And my body is my compassionate woman
Whenever I think about what the world is doing to me
And the friends are around me
Dancing in the void
I summon my mother: "The firewood carrier"

Resorting to my body
I do things I do not like
From the logic of "There is no use " "
And throw all men with a stone

My memory is a pigeon
Its cooing is "The questions "
About a conflict is going on
Between two companions
Me and my body
It is enough for me that
I am one imbrued in my blood
