Analysis of Zero Funds

Just a broken poet,
  at an A.T.M.

His stomach cries out,
  words hunger within

The nights are the longest,
  cold darkens and chills

Fresh words on account,
  new credit distills

Pushing buttons while bent,
  with hope standing tall

An answer comes back,
  ‘Zero Funds To Withdraw’
