Analysis of Like "I've got the blues", except it's "I've got the gays"

Wow.
I think I've finally done it.
We've reached those days.
Time to tell the world that,
I have the gays.
It's been a secret worth keeping.
I've kept it for years.
A secret worth holding on to,
stop all the tears.
Will anybody help me?
Will anybody hear?
I've got so much emotion that I,
Just cannot bear.
I know I don't have much time but,
The world looks to grey.
I think it's about time I,
Come out as gay.
