Analysis of Warmth of a fluffy blanket

What is it that I want to find before I lay my head to rest
Answering that question is hard for me to define
Raised without knowing what family is, I can only imagine
My first and most important thing is for understanding
Too many have turned their backs for things misinterpreted
Honesty and patience is what I try to achieve and seek

Often I have seen an old couple walking hand in hand
For people who care for one another through life is rare

After so many turning away I need someone to stand firm

Finding happiness in someone's company and feel free
Laughter ringing through the air bringing light to a day
Under the cover of darkness, the feeling of soft lips on mine
Fire burning deep in my chest from just the sight of her
Fury of the heart wherey heart aches when she isn't near
Yet we should both have the freedom to enjoy our own things

Bickering may happen but it will make our relations stronger
Love though I haven't quite found it yet, I have had a taste
After feeling cold and empty for so long I could use hugs
Not any of those quick insensitive but one of length
Keeping this dream for something to cherish has me tired
Even sometimes I have wondered if I was destined alone
Tonight though, I go to my bed alone and dream of warmth
