Analysis of The Horde’s Prayer

Forgive me, Father,
for what I have done -
and what I have failed to do.

Forgive me, Mother,
for trying to run -
so far and fast away from you.

Forgive me, Brother,
for carelessness accrued -
I never truly showed you love.

Forgive me, Sister,
for being so cruel -
with words of anger, that twist and shove.

Forgive me, children,
for walking away -
without thought of the reckless remnant void.

Forgive me, forgive me,
for losing faith
in self and in health -
a once bright boy,
turned to
a dark,
damp
schizoid.
