Analysis of Then Again Kids Stomp On Ants (Bussokusekika)
Edwin Tanguma 1966 (CA)
Then Again Kids Stomp On Ants (Bussokusekika)
Plants grow in gardens
Kids play in parks and playgrounds
I have seen plants grow
Where kids of every age play
And yes I’ve seen weeds as well
Then again kids stomp on ants

About this poem
Them is referencing the plants and weeds I’ve seen some kids play with…Especially the daisies and dandelions…Or at least I recall I used to play with them in my youth…
