Analysis of The Well Meaning
Peter Kurt Mason 1954 (LA)
We're sitting in a corral of rickety chairs,
surreptitiously eyeing a distant plate of muffins....when the conversation descends to....
belt buckles, hemp ropes, door knobs, fentanyl...not our favorite subjects, until a slim slip of a girl begins humming an embroidered tune, instantly evocative of....
Shinto shrines, Nightingale floors, Matins bells, Seahorse eggs...and other such translucent timeless creations, as are we all, especially dispensers of good wishes,
who, despite overseeing this sorry circle,
truly believe non of us will give up.
