Analysis of FACED THE FIRES

FACED THE FIRES

I've faced the fires
Of the burning pits of Hell
Risen past the desires
Of sinful flesh as well

I've stood toe to toe
And the Devil backed down
Because every place I go
God's Grace does abound

When the fire leaps
And threatens to devour
Remember the Word He keeps
And His awesome loving power

In the Armor of the Lord
May we stand faithful and true
Remember His Word's your Sword
Let the Spirit work through you

There's no power under Heaven
That can peirce Faith's true shield
Let our love give a glimpse of Heaven
And crops of lost well yield

Face those flaming fire
Of the very pits of Hell
Make Jesus your desire
And you'll rise above as well
AMEN
