Analysis of A Mother's kiss
Barry Green Jr 1973 (Florida)
A MOTHER'S KISS
Your first kiss, was your mother's
As the world turns there were others
But that was the kiss that started it all
Its our mothers kiss that lifts us when we fall
Its our mother's kiss
We both sought and resist
The kiss that lifted us when we fell
That protected us through the hardest Hell
Its a kiss we often ignored and took for granted
A kiss we looked for even when we don't understand it
And it is our mother's kiss we will miss
When we stop and pause to reminisce.
I will never recall my Mother's first kiss
But her last kiss I will always remember and miss
Love her if you got her, each kiss treasure
For a reminiscent kiss is a bittersweet pleasure
