Analysis of YOU Stay In My Thoughts

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

You.
Yes YOU!
Stay in my thoughts.
That is why today,
And all days that have come to pass.
I pray that whatever you choose to do,
Keeps you happy.
After all you have gone through.
With a doing to still,
Be a sparkle to shine bright.
Even though you may dislike,
My moody attitudes.
Yet you remain to stay,
Patient and tolerant.

Perhaps not to know,
Your husband, children.
Grandchildren and great-grandchildren too.
May at times,
Not express their appreciation.
For all that you do.

Although you know this too to be true,
They will come to only you.
To get on your last nerve.
Like no one else to allow them to do it!
And...
Isn't that what love is all about?!

Dedicated to:
My unique Sister Mimmie 'Dee'.
Queen of her family!
With a doing done that seems,
Her energy is effortless!
